About Congress

16th World Intensive and Critical Care Congress (WICC2023) is the official Congress of the World Federation of Intensive and Critical Care (www.wficc.com) which is a membership organization comprised of over 85 national scientific national societies and federations of intensive and critical care medicine with a combined individual membership of over 90,000 intensive and critical care practitioners throughout the world.

WFICC organizes its biennial international congress by a member national society which is elected by the Council of WFICC among candidate countries and is approved at the General Assembly.

16th World Intensive and Critical Care Congress will be organized by the Society of Turkish Intensivists (www.tuyud.org.tr).

The mission of the WICC2023 is to gather all intensive and critical care professionals from the globe to share knowledge, experience and research findings in intensive and critical care; to contribute to education and experience of intensivists; to form networks in intensive and critical care education and research; and to improve the standards and quality of patient care; to bridge the gap for a better future in intensive and critical care medicine and to contribute to the well-being of intensive and critical care professionals by a face-to-face meeting after the pandemic which had an enormous impact on the intensive and critical care medicine.
