Julie HELMS (MD, PhD) is a Professor of Medicine working in medical Intensive Care Unit at Strasbourg University Hospital, in France. Her current research projects include the study of the pathophysiological mechanisms involved in vascular dysfunction in septic shock and hemostasis disorders, with particular interest for diagnostic procedures concerning disseminated intravascular coagulation.
