Dr Deepak Govil is the past President of the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM) and the Chancellor of the Indian College of Critical Care Medicine. He is the Director of Critical Care at Medanta in Gurgaon, India. He has served ISCCM in various capacities including, Vice President, Vice-Chancellor, Controller of Examinations, Accreditation Secretary, Associate Editor of Indian Journal of Critical Care Medicine He has written many chapters, authored many guidelines and published many articles in field of critical care medicine. He has organized many national and international conferences and workshops.

She was born on January 4, 1975, and graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1999. From 2000 to 2005, she specialized in medicine at Atatürk Chest Diseases and Thoracic Surgery Training and Research Hospital. From 2005 to 2009, she pursued intensive care sub-specialization at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine. Since November 2009, she has been working as a faculty member at Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Chest Diseases. She is married and a mother of one child.

Dr Saidu Yusuf Yakubu, MBBS, DA, FWACS, FIMC, PGDE is an Associate Professor and Consultant Anaesthesiologist at the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) and Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH) Zaria, Nigeria. He has been the Head of Anaesthesia in ABU and ABUTH Zaria from 2017 to 2021. Dr Yakubu is a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS), Member-Faculty Board of Anaesthesia of the West African College of Surgeons, Council Member-World Federation of Intensive and Critical Care, Member of the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine, Assistant General-Secretary Intensive and Critical Care Society of Nigeria (I-CCSN), Member of the Society for the Advancement of Patient Blood Management (SABM) and Member of the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP). He was the outgoing Treasurer and the current General Secretary of the Nigerian Society of Anaesthetists (NSA) and the present Kaduna Zonal Coordinator of the Society for the Study of Pain Nigeria (SSPN). He was the NSA North-West Zonal Coordinator during the period 2019 to 2021 and the Chairman Local Organizing Committee of NSA 2021 Annual Conference and AGM. He has interests in Critical Care, Patient Blood Management, Peri-operative Pain Prevention & Management and Safety in Anaesthesia.
