Müge Aydoğdu is the Professor of Department of Pulmonology, Division of Intensive Care Medicine at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, Ankara, Türkiye. Her professional interest includes pulmonary medicine, critical care, respiratory physiology and bronchoscopy. She has been working as a council member and treasurer of Society of Turkish Intensivists since 2019. She is a member of several international and national societies such as European Society of Intensive Care Medicine, European Respiratory Society, Society of Turkish Intensivists, Turkish Thoracic Society, Turkish Respiratory Society. Her major research interests include sepsis, invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation, respiratory physiology, ARDS, acute kidney injury in critical care patients, ventilator associated pneumonia, thorax ultrasonography and bronchoscopy in critical care.


Prof. Chong-Jen Yu, MD

Chong-Jen Yu is the professor of department of internal medicine at National Taiwan University, College of Medicine. Prof. Yu’s professional interest includes pulmonary medicine, critical care and thoracic oncology. He currently serves as Superintendent of National Taiwan University Hospital, Hsin-Chu Branch, President of Taiwan Association of Hospital Medicine, Council Member of World Federation of Intensive and Critical Care and Executive Committee of Taiwan Association for Study of Lung Cancer.
Professor Yu’s major research interests include the pathogenesis and management of sepsis, the epidemiology and pathogenesis of chronic obstructive airway disease, and the carcinogenesis, early detection and treatment of lung cancer. He has authored or co-authored more than 520 orginial articles with an H-index of 83. He is a reviewer for more than 80 international journals including the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Lancet.
